The Latest Show News (1st Quarter Highlights)...

• Maggie, Desert Winds Rain Dance Maggie just took a 3 Point Major and Best Puppy at Lake Matthews Club on April 28th. Maggie debutted in Palm Springs and then went Winners Bitch for a 4 Point Major at her next show in Pinon Hills. Since then she took back to back Best of Winners at Bates Nut farm.
  
  
• Strider, Peer of the Realmtook Best of Winners for 2 points at Lake Matthews on Sunday April 29th. He also went Best Puppy in Sweeps and Puppy Group 3 in Sweeps at Pinon Hills
  
  
• Woody, GCH Hollywood took an Award of Merit at Westminster and Best of Breed at Silver Bay and Santa Clara Valley Dog Shows. Woody is now the #3 Bullmastiff in the country.
  
  
• Brandy, CH Desert Winds Sweet Dreams O Smudge went Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for 2 points on Jan. 12th and won a 3 point major the next day. The following week she finished her Championship in Maryland.
  
  
• Tony, Glenroe Swirling Desert Winds, went Winners Dog and Best of Winners for 2 points at the Tri-valley Working Dog Club of Pinon Hills handled by Wendy Bettis.
  
  
• Fergie, Desert Winds Imma Be Dutchess for Chana Laki, went Winners Bitch for 2 points in Pinon Hills handled by Gary Steele.
  
  
• Solo, Desert Winds One Step Beyond, took Best Puppy in Palm Springs.
  
  

Grand Champions ...

• Our boxer, GCH CJ, Desert Winds Spirit of Meritage earned his Grand Championship on October 1st at the Riverside Show at Lake Perris.
  
  
• Our bullmastiff stud dog, GCH Woody, aka. Hollywood, earned his grand championship with 6 majors
  
  
• Our boxer, GCH Lil Rae, Desert Winds Lil Rae of Sunshine, completed her grand championship in just seven showings - six 4pt majors and a final point with a BOS win at Rio Hondo Kennel Club on Saturday, May 7th. As a Mother's Day gift, Lil Rae finished up the weekend with a BOB win! Thank You Linda Mattson for expertly handling Lil Rae into this special win. It was one year ago Mother's Day that Lil Rae earned her very first point at the Rio Hondo show, taking BOB over a special from the 6-9 puppy class.
  
  
• Our bullmastiff, GCH Tawny, Desert Winds Long Road to Ruin earned her Grand Championship on January 30th at Orange Empire Kennel Club taking Best Opposite
  
  
• Our Boxer, GCH Pink, Desert Winds Look of Love, earned her Grand Championship on January 7th taking Select Bitch at the Southern California Boxer Specialty.
  
  

Puppies ...

On February 9th, we whelped a litter of 5 Boxer puppies (3 females and 2 males). These puppies are now available for sale. Note, the litter of Bullmastiff puppies whelped on Feb 4th have been sold.
